Biography

Kimberly (Kim) Cinco, MPsy, has a multidisciplinary background spanning criminal justice, military service, social advocacy, and health equity technology, positioning her to address the complex challenges facing marginalized communities within medical and justice systems. She is currently the UX Engineer and Product Manager for the Satcher Health Leadership Institute's Health Equity Tracker platform, addressing health disparities in underserved communities.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Media Psychology from the University of Hawaiʻi - West Oʻahu and Touro University Worldwide, respectively.

With experience as a former social worker/probation officer with the Hawaii State Judiciary conducting pre-sentence investigations and supervising violent offenders, she brings unique insight into the intersection of criminal justice, healthcare, and community advocacy. As a medically retired service-connected disabled U.S. Navy veteran, Kim is passionate about mental health advocacy, particularly supporting military suicide survivors and gun violence survivors. As a foster youth advocate, Kim has traveled to the U.S. Capitol to champion child welfare system reform with the National Foster Youth Institute and has served as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer manager with the Superior Court of California, working to ensure foster youth receive appropriate services and achieve stability. Kim serves as the Director of Technology for Rita XYZ, a mission-driven tech agency mentoring up and coming tech creatives and supporting small business owners.
