Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2021

Today we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man far ahead of his time, who saw what could be achieved, and viewed equity as a right and not a privilege for every individual. During one of his most challenging times - when he was incarcerated in a Birmingham jail - he urged Americans to help people “rise from the dark depths of prejudice and racism to the majestic heights of understanding and brotherhood.” Through his words that still echo in our everyday lives, we are inspired to persevere and continue on our course to educate and train leaders who desire to move the health equity needle forward, regardless of the barriers, constraints, and limitations placed upon us. With your partnership, we can and will prevail in giving every human being a chance to live their best life and reach their highest potential.
