Ben Hammond is a  Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at the Morehouse School of Medicine, where he steers development of the open-source Health Equity Tracker. With a degree in Music Technology from McGill University and software engineering training from General Assembly, Ben brings a unique blend of creative and  technical expertise to his work. Formerly a touring musician and founder of a tech-forward music business, he now channels his passion for equity and innovation into building tools that illuminate disparities and drive change in public health. He lives in Denver, Colorado with his family.
