The Satcher Health Leadership Institute (SHLI) is now accepting applications for the 2021 Community Health Leadership Program (CHLP). The SHLI-CHLP is designed to close the gap between academic medicine or academic health centers and the communities of greatest need by connecting to people who are most affected by disparities. The goal is to develop and/or enhance community health leaders who are educated, motivated, and mobilized to lead community groups in changing health behavior, improving environmental health, and influencing policies to support community health. The 2021 cohort will be held virtually, February 26 – April 16, 2021, as an 8-session training, every Friday for 8 weeks.
