Who We Are
The David Satcher Global Health Equity Institute (GHEI) is dedicated to advancing health equity across the globe — educating culturally competent healers, driving innovative research, and building sustainable partnerships across Africa, Asia, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Named for Dr. David Satcher, the 16th U.S. Surgeon General, and led by Founding Director Dr. Barney S. Graham, GHEI is cultivating a generation of health professionals equipped to transform global health policy, reduce the burden of disease, and build a more just and healthier world for all.
